Have you ever lied on a resume to help get that interview? Did it work and were you able to get away with it?

Yes it did work and I made alot of money from it. When I lied I did my research and made sure I knew what I was talking about and made sure I could show it.

The industry im in now I had no experience at all. So I lied and told them I had 3 years experience.

Now I did go ti people In the industry and learnwd everything I needed to learn and the terms I should be familiar with. I studied abiut the job for abiut 3 montha before I actually out in apps.

It was very worth it. Dont regret it at all. All I can say is if you do it, make sure you know your ####.

The job force is about crying and lying. Like what was said above just know what you are talking about and have a reference to co-sign

You can't make up lies on a resume if you plan to work their full-time and they expect skills you said you have. But most of the time they re-train you anyways so doesn't matter. Just need to embellish your skills rather than make them up so you don't look incompetent. You shouldn't be honest and open for sure unless you want to keep getting that unemployment insurance

Loan officer a$sistant. Helps loan ifficers who do home loans for peiple. After a few mo ths was able to move to another position higher. Loan coordinator and analyst. And just 3 weeks ago move to a better job. What helps in my industry is that there are people whove been in it 10 years and are so imcompetent. It makes it wasy to overtake people and their positions because some people are only there because of senioeity not actual production. The fact that I produce more already puts me on my managers good side.

Never lie, just embellish the hell out of whatever you have done. Champion your strengths, do not mention your weakness unless they specifically ask if you are capable of doing that thing that you cannot do.

Well its cause I have no volunteer experience. Thinking about adding some and maybe school clubs. I'm trying to add stuff that would make me a better candidate for an internship position

Yup my work history from 18-22 was ####ed.

Got fired from a warehouse for failing a drug test after I crushed a scanner lol

Took advantage of a game deal at Blockbuster and they classified it as stealing so I completely leave those off my resume and filled it in like I worked for my homies dad. He Cove for me so it works.

I've never lied on my resume or any of the skills I claim I have. And I ended up just fine.

But of course, do what you want. You can only go so far with lying.

Just cause other people do it doesn't mean you should.
