i just learned this trick. i got a LLC for my music production company and a tax ID #. When i filed taxes, i gave all my recipts, and bank statements to my accountant and got a HUGE return. Even if you make only a lil money from your business, you can write off most things, like i wrote off blank cd's, computer and music equipment, and a lot of other stuff. You can usually get 4-5 g's back. anyway, get up on it.

thats called 1099 income which is so much better than w-2.. tax laws are made by business owners for business owners... 1099>>>>w-2

when ever i am going to make a large purchase, i buy gift cards and use them for the purchase. Then i turn around and say they were special promotions that i gave away

check your local city or states website for LLC information. I do this all the time with my computer company. You may have to pay a small for to legalize your business in your town, but it's worth it.

I set up my LLC on InCorp.com.

It cost $350, and took only 3 weeks for me to get the Papers in the mail

I just set up a Bank Account for it earlier last month, and am gonna set up some sites that generate income with Google Adsense.

Treshawn, is there any place we can hear your beats?

And were you able to write off living expenses, like Food, Clothes or Apartment Rent, or just stuff that relates to creating Music?

^^ co-sign. I plan on checking this out soon. Seems like a real good idea. I know there are many tax breaks available for biz. owners I just never knew where to start looking.

me and my nigga set up an LLC to start real estate investing, everybody is right tho. the gov't uses things like this to get people to do their own business and all that because that runs the country. The tax loopholes and all that are pretty much incentives.

you have to go on the irs website to apply for a tax id, then go to a bank an open an account in your company's name using that tax id number.
