$500 saved as a student

Being 19, Christmas season I managed to save up $500 this month. I got no job and no steady source of income so I mainly buy things for cheap and sell it on ebay. amongst other side hustles. The real test now will be to see if I can hold onto this money and not spend it in the following weeks.anyways I'm feeling good about the new year. I make very very short term plans e.g. I aim to have $700 by the end of January and then I will create a new goal in february.

I commend you on such a tough feat. Keep this up. You manage your money better then people who make that amount in two weeks!

I would advice you when you get a little more funds to start a small hustle with (of course) low over head cost. Do your due diligence.

I hate seeing this I'm a student so I can't work crap. Get a real job and make some real money. You have your goals set way too low. Aim higher if you ever want to get anywhere in life.

This is real life.

Start early get a job work experience under your belt now. This will enable you to make money, pay on your loans, save etc... Many people get out of college with 0 money, loans out the[..], and no where to go. Start working towards your future. I applaud your small goals, but no one got where they wanted dreaming small.

Internship + Save Money + Pay Loans + Invest (or at least spend time researching) + sidebar Invest in buying !! to sell on eBAY.

What's the best job work experience I can get? I find it very difficult to get a retail job because I have no experience and its already tough to get a part time job out there.

Become a waiter or bartender, it's a fun job, if your good you can make good money, you'll learn the ins and outs of an industry that will be around forever, and you can network with some of the customers which could lead to a real career.

I've worked in a restaurant for 2 1/2 years, and I highly recommend it. I previously work in retail for about 1 1/2 years and retail !!ing sucks. The job is always insanely boring, and unless you're a manager you don't make !!. Restaurant business you're pretty much only working nights, and if you can get into a nice restaurant you'll make pretty good money for the low amount of hours you work

Idk yall. I think I would need to have some feminine gay tendencies with the politeness and !! serving customers their food. Plus I've had a few oldheads tell me its one of the hardest/low paid jobs to do? retail I can make 6.50 an hour waiters only get like 5

In College, it was HARD AS !! to find a good barber..
I used to have to go all the way back home for a good one..
So if you can do that, you'll be super decent..

This dude I met made his cards off this cheap website, passed them out.
But a funny joke about going home for a cut, had it on there..
Pretty soon word got around, nicca was working like CRAZY..
I'm talking about STACKING.
I wish I could have done that !!..
Instead I was a broke !! making 8.50 as a telemarketer..
Hating my life.
