Wireless companies must make a KILLING on smartphone plans.
I see all these prepaid companies coming out with unlimited everything plans for $50 and even less. The only thing that sucks about those prepaid companies is that they dont have popular smart phones like blackberry, iphone, pre, android. But I'm sure they can if they really want to because all those prepaid companies run on verizon, tmobile, att, sprint networks or are owned by them. But they would rather have people pay a premium price for the in demand smart phones on a 2 year contract. If the can charge $50 for everything prepaid they have to be making a killing on iphones and blackberrys

well.......i know metropcs can use sprint phones, so any smart phone/ppc on sprint can be flashed over to metropcs

this is where they make the difference in offering u a subsidized price on phones that cost 700-900 dollars...

Yeah he means that if you didn't get the contract then those phones are expensive if you buy them outright. A 32GB Iphone for example is 600-700 outright (pretty sure its 700).

I did the ordering for my store when I worked at Verizon and I've seen the cost list on the phones in the office at AT&T...s**t is no joke, these phones are expensive as hell to get in stock.
