Thats the whole point of jailbreaking bro.

You cant get free apps from torrents with an unjailbroken phone.

Just jailbreak. Or are you on 3.1.3?

Just means you cant jailbreak.

If you have 3G or lower, you can downgrade back to 3.1.2 and rejailbreak.

If your on the 3GS though, your screwed like me unless you backed your #### up on Cydia before updating to 3.1.3.

Worry not, whenever 4.0 comes out in June/July and is jailbroken we will be back in good shape.

Till then, just enjoy the phone for what it is.

i had my phone jail broken for a while and i know you download all of your bootleg apps through 3rd party servers such as cydia, instal00s, appcake, ect. But most of them have garbage apps which dont even equal those on the app store so even when i had it jail broken i would download cool app store apps off torrentz and try to sync them through itunes and they would not let me. Just wondering how i would install apps i downloaded on my pc to my iphone. Is there a bootleg version of itunes u use on ur pc to install apps to jailbroken phones?

You must download Appsync for 3.1 on Cydia! That's what make the cracked apps sync between your phone/ipod and itunes! Once you do this it's smooth sailing! If you don't know how to get it on cydia, then look it up on youtube! There is hundreds of videos on how to do cool things on your phone!

It is very easy, actually. I'm crippeled drunk but I walked my manager at work through it about 2 weeks back. He downgraded from 3.1.3 to 3.1.2 and re-jailbroke. Meanwhile i'm on the 3GS stuck on 3.1.3 unjailbroken. FML.

Anyway, I will post the link for you tomorrow when sober. You gotta use Redsnow or something like that. I will get it later. Its a few pages back in this thread though.

The #### you talkin about? The apps you download on Installous or Install0us or Appcake are EXACT clones of the app store version. At least they all have been for me.
