in 2011 samsung was in great cooperation and offered much support for developers of their phones. in 2012 samsung has pulled dev support, locked down their phones, have not released dev-version phones of s3 and is basically operating similar to apple...not listening to the community. you really should watch the vid, its much easier than reading actually.

| Let's be honest every hardware company wants to be like Apple. Samsung just doesn't really do a good job of hiding the fact [pic] | |

| Seems he have a helluva bunch of good points brought up on this In the same token, it also appears that a great chunk of his rants can also be attributed to Verizon who.. lets face it... holds up the Galaxy Nexus' updates. Verizon won't get the hint anytime soon tho since they sell $hitloads of Droids so what you gonna do [pic] | |

| this is because samsung has plans to develop its own OS. bad move in my opinion. they should just keep with Android from the marketing recognition alone. the main reason why people buy samsung phones is because they run on android. | |

This dev really needs to get over it. Verizon locks just about all bootloaders on its network. Motorola phones have locked bootloaders because of Verizon. A dev should know this by now. If you do not want an Android phone with a locked bootloader, do not use Verizon.

| Isn't this more of a rant against Verizon? So he's mad that Samsung made a special Verizon version....ok....switch carriers. | |
