Is there a way to clean a bad ESN/MEID

I purchased a HTC Droid Eris off Ebay, I went to the Verizon store and they said i couldn't use it because it had a bad MEID. Since I have the phone and its n guarantee that Ebay will resolve the issue does anyone know of a way to get the number cleared or replaced with another phone. Also i currently have a LG Env Touch thats working on the verizon network can it be cloned to te HTC phone?

Ive heard you can do it with blackberrys. BUt to my knowledge for the most part no. Just get your money back. If the nicca didn't say the ESN was clear then u should be good. At this point Ebay is strictly for the seller right now.

if the seller didn't say the ESN was clean then you can't do !! cause he can say you didn't ask and he didn't tell you it was therefore he's not at fault, eBay will probably agree

if he said the ESN WAS clean then you might have a case

don't buy electronics like that from ebay. next time get on craigslist.

Hell naa that's even worse, they let any goon get on craigs list. At least ebay requires a valid credit card to be on file for any seller. Just buy from trusted people & paypal protected items and you will be fine. I've bought over 100 items off ebay and the only problem I had is I bought a case for my touch pro 2 and it ended up being too small. I only payed 7 bux for it so I didn't even dispute about it

Now the person is telling me the phone was flashed to Cricket, thats why its not working for Verizon and wont until its flashed back. Is this a true statement? will flashing back make the MEID a clear one. How do I flash a Verizon Phone off the Cricket Network back unto the Verizon Network?

[pic] Sprint???? Verizon??? Which one is it? Either way, if the phone was flashed to a different network, it will not work until it is flashed back to the correct network and even after that, I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE HAVE LOTS OF ISSUES GETTING IT TO WORK. Just get ya money back
