Sprint throws $400 at families who ditch Verizon and AT&T

Sprint (S) has long been plugging its unlimited data plans as a key benefit for users who are fed up with paying overage fees from Verizon (VZ) and AT&T (T), but now the company is adding cold, hard cash to the equation as well. PhoneArena spotted a Sprint promo that is offering people a $400 in-store credit if they switch three or more of their wireless phone lines to Sprint from another carrier. The offer will reportedly be available in all Sprint stores from August 19th through September 15th, and will require users to sign a two-year service agreement.

If I got 3 lines with verizon I got break all three contracts to switch over to sprint and only get 400 back.

Naw you got a pay that. Then when you get over to sprint they gone give you 400 to use towards whatever. It's mostly for people who contract is up.

If they paid my etf and gave me the 400 credit then I'd jump on it.

I have an iPhone 4S 64GB on Sprint and have no complaints. There not as bad as people make them out to be but as always your experience may be different depending on your location. This is a good deal.

My contract is up in 13 days and I'm really contemplating leaving Sprint to go to Verizon. Just don't really like any of their phones right now except the S3.

I was gonna get Verizon but I think you gotta pay extra for tethering. With ATT, it's free with the 5gig data plan.

i think verizon's gonna cut me off if i ever get a 4G phone. that said, the day i get a 4G phone is the day i go to sprint

i will never even think of leaving ATT until they force me to get rid of my unlt'd data plan. I pay $158 a month for two iphone 4S's and I don't have to worry about usage in any way. EVERYTHING is unlt'd.

US Cellular pays your bill, gives you two free phones, and money for your old phones when you ditch any company. Stay playing catch up Big boys.

i have a sprint iphone 4s, bill is $79ish dollars with a discount that i receive. im not complaining, i have been with sprint since i was 16, only phone company i been with...so im staying. they treat me well [pic]

VZW will let you keep the unlimited data plan if you don't take the subsidy on equipment, left the company in June. I figure most phones are already $200-$300 after discount anyway, whats another $200-$300 to go off contract. You can catch a deal on CL or Ebay, long as you make sure the device wasn't reported lost/stolen.

And PDA Net is back in the market place, haven't tested it out yet, but i'm going to see if the hotspot on my phone works for my tablet [pic]
