Sooo what exactly does rooting ur phone allow you to do? Whats the point of this. Key differences? Pro's and cons of unrooted and rooted versions. It just allows you to get more apps downloaded ? Whats the biggest special wow factor of rooting this thing. Sell it to me. [pic]

You can use titanium backup. Plus let's you flash custom roms when they come out.

I root mines to remove that bullshiit bloatware from carriers that
just take up space with apps i won't even use, plus u can customize
it to look a certain way [pic]

I like to root for the custom roms, unlocking the phone, customization in general and my favorite, all the apps you pay for in the Android Market you can get for FREE!

yeah but its more than free stuff and customization, its also full control over system attributes and hardware, i.e bluetooth for ps3 control, and ps3 controllers, sound and volume, over clock for faster

clockwork mod is the kernel, but devil is the best kernel--- kernels are that part you access when trying to wipe cache at first boot

android is about 90% open apple about 50%, rooting gives you 100% as jailbreaking an iphone would give you the same

knowing what i know now, cant see how some1 has an iphone or android without rooting or jailbreaking...apple especially because theres a k!ll switch that they can remotely use to disable a feature or the phone enitrely ...gd luck with that
