My contract is up in december but today I went to Radio Shack to see the Gs3 in person and it looks nice.
So the[..]ociate looks up my info and says im eligible for an upgrade and can get the 16 gig for 149.99. [pic]

Problem is, theres no LTE in NYC yet but I dont want to go back to relying on slow 3G speeds when i'm not on Wifi. [pic]

I have a GS2 right now with ICS and extended battery and im loving it.
I dont wanna lock into another 2 year contract without atleast seeing the Ip5 1st. Anyone in the same boat?

I'd save your money and stick with the SII for now. Although somebody on BX said they would walk outside and wait forever to upload a picture to Facebook on the S2, but since they've gotten the S3 they've had very little wait. Both on Sprint 3G. Must be an improved radio in the S3, but I don't see how it could be that much better...

if you get WiMax all over the place like I do in Boise, then no need to downgrade, except for the S3 is sick as f*ck. I'd play around with it a bit and see if you want it that badly now.

Which extended battery do you have? I just got the SII (passed on the S3 for now cause no upgrade till "NOV) and want to up its battery game

I'm sure u get WiMax so hold out til LTE is released, then upgrade.
