Samsung to demo 5.9-inch Galaxy Note III to AT&T this week?

Samsung is apparently getting ready to demo the upcoming Galaxy Note III to the AT&T executives. However, this isn’t the 6.3-inch device we’ve heard about in the past — rather, this unit comes with a 5.9-inch full*HDscreen. That*6.3-inch phablet*is still in the pipeline but it won’t be theflagship*Note device. Instead, it will have a mid-end specs and will start selling before the end of H1 2013.The information comes from the sources of*Korea Times, which say that AT&T’s CMO will attend the small show at Seoul where he will be able to comment on the Note III design mockup. As far as we’ve understood, the Note III is still far from entering the production. At the moment, all we know is that it will rock a full HD screen.When it comes to the launch date, Samsung will most likely unveil the next Note in late August, helping the company make additional cash from the “back to school” shopping mania…

I own the gn2 myself and I agree with you 100%

A few of my friends have the GN2. I've been waiting on the 3 to drop, I have an upgrade coming up in June. But if the phone gets any bigger, I'm not sure I can !! with it. Any chance they will increase the screen size without that much bigger of the phone as a whole?

The Note III is supposed to have the same size as the Note 2 with a bigger screen. They are supposed to reduce the borders between the screen itself and the edges of the phone.
But it is only rumors...

I think 5.9 will work fine, everyone always complains about the size, but in the end they still buy the Note regardless, and just adapt to having a bigger screen. I see this being no different, if you look at what they did for the s4, you can already see they will using as much space as possible to add to screen size, so I wouldn't expect them to make a phone so huge previous owners can't !! with it. Just get ready to enjoy that 1080p godly screen this fall [pic]

i think note 2 is as big as any phone should go imo, the gs4 i think has perfect look and size for a phone but still not sure if im sold on getting gs4 or wait for nexus 5

Had my Note II for just over a month now and it's easily the best phone I've owned.
Was skeptical at first about the size but after my day-to-day usage I wouldn't trade it for anything.
Today at my desk at work using the March Madness App on 4G is a perfect example of how everyone hated at first but now drools over the clarity and resolution.
Aside from the screen size the phone itself just works seamlessly.
I agree it's getting to a point where you just mine as well get the tablet and if the phone gets any bigger I would not buy it, but the current GN2 is just fine. Lightweight and fits in my pocket no prob.
The battery life is phenomenal too.
Hopefully like someone said..they just stick to expanding the screen on the unused borders.

If you're debating on what phone to get right now in my opinion and personal experience the GN2 is a no brainer. For all it offers it's only knock is the size and after a week you're gonna wonder what took you so long to get it and everyone else's phone looks puny and generic. I can understand the technologically inept phone using consumer being deterred, but anybody besides that I would strongly suggest at least trying it out for the week or so you have it before you can return it.
Most likely you will not be returning it.

I'm so used to the size of the Note 2, that I don't realize how big it is until someone brings it to my attention. I held my brother's gf's iphone and the !! felt so uncomfortable.
