Ok enough of the rumors and speculations, ive finally got my palm pre, the device is as good as i could hope, if you have any info or questions this is the place to post them.

I went to the Wordpress Insidesprintnow or something. And I seen that guy say that you need a Simply Everything plan. He said that Sprint wants you to have a data plan or something of that nature. I have the SERO plan and I have unlimited data. Are they going to force me to switch plans for sure?

and yeah u need a data plan. To my knowledge it doesn't work with SERO.

From what I'm hearing concerning SERO. Because the Pre is going to be treated the same way as the Instinct (requires a everything data plan) I was told that everyone with a SERO plan will have to update to the Everything Plus Referral Program but that's what numerous people higher up are telling me

I guess I'll find out when it comes out. It makes no sense to force me to a new plan when both have unlimited data.

yo nameless i got a couple questions bruh.

1) how's the keyboard compared to say the treo pro? treo pro's kb isn't bad but a lil more room couldn't hurt.

2) how's battery life so far? 1150mah right?

3) what's the deal with existing customers/sero plans? as long as u have unlimited data plan u good or are they gonna force upgrades to higher priced plans?

^^Even though you nameless, you have a unknow location and there is already hundreds of Pre photos and vids out there??

But nobody but Palm and Sprint heads know when its gonna drop, not reps or salesman or tech. They got the same info as us. Check the WSJ tomorrow for the ad, they took out, everyone believes they gonna drop a def date and price. More than likely its gonna drop June 5th-7th, like a thousand other blogs say and the price is gonna be like 199 for new contracts and 299 for upgrades. As far as SERO i sure f**king hope so. I had the Instint and the old $30 SERO plan, I bought the s**tstinct from Best Buy, got the new customer price even though it wasnt really time for me to upgrade and I was able to add it to my account with the SERO with no problem. I did get a call or two ASKING me did I want to switch my plan cause they have some plans that they think might be better but I just said no thanks and they never called again. I would recommend going to get the pre from Best Buy, you get the rebate up front and you got a better chance of keeping your same old plan with no issues.
