That's because they're at the bottom when it comes to market share. When from a 39% market share in 2009 to a 5% share in 2012.

^^^ This.

Though I am not going to lie, the idea of being able to use my phone outside in the winter without having to take off my gloves is nice.

The Nokia N8 was the best phone I have ever owned. Every Nokia is damned near indestructible. Only issue I had was the OS being symbian and not having any apps. I'm actually looking to buy a new phone right now, not sure which I should get though [pic]

I have a C7 and I agree, their phones are built like tanks. Dropped this in the snow and submerged it in water twice and it still works

Nokia is still a great manufacturer.... just who the !! wants Windows Phone.

If they made Android phones instead of being dumb!!s on WP, they'd still be a top OEM.

Try it for you knock it. Windows Phone is very fluid and intuitive. I don't know why people make generalizations about something they haven't tried or researched about. And just because a person has tried it doesn't mean he/she would truly understand how it works because anyone can try any phone and put it down.

Windows Phone may be great.. I've never tried it.. but there is no support.

I used to rock Windows Mobile exclusively (Moto Q-> HTC Touch-> HTC Diamond-> HTC Touch Pro 2) until I jumped to Android. I liked Windows Mobile because of how open it was, and how much control you had over your device. Android took that crown, and Microsoft gave it away. At least early on, WP was fairly locked down (I haven't kept up with it, to know it's current state), and it seemed like MS was trying to go after the iOS crowd, by making things very simple, with less options... but lacking basic functionality, and lacking developer support.

I'm sure they've at least fixed the issues with basic functionality by now... but dev support is still low.

Windows Phone seems like a cross between Android and iOS, without the app support of either. There's just no reason to !! with it.

Plenty of people out there want something different. They might not steal androids marketshare but they are a threat in the game. WP is a very good OS just needs to up their apps which they will do.

I have a Nokia E5 and I'm looking forward to coppin the E6. Alot of people knock symbian now a days because of the lack of apps and how dated it is. But me personally I still find symbian a reliable and st@ble OS that just gets the job done.

Nokia is making a huge attempt comeback and I think they have alot to offer in the future with windows.
