Nexus Q stock sold out

If you were thinking hard about ordering yourself a Google Nexus Q yesterday when the device launched officially, and you waited until today, you’ve waited too long. It seems that all the initial supply of the Nexus Q have been sold out overnight. Yesterday when the device launched the official Nexus Q page on the Google Playing store listed the media streaming orb as in stock.
Either the Nexus Q is a bigger hit than any of us had imagined or Google simply produced very few to see if anyone would buy it. Yesterday, the device appeared to be in stock with a shipping time frame of “3-5 days,” but as of today, it has changed to “2-3 weeks.”
Could the Nexus Q end up being a hit?

Google Nexus Q hacked in under 24 hours

Philippe Hausle from Apportable already has a little gaming action pulled though the Q. Don’t go and get too excited just yet though, he has Swords and Soldiers up on the screen, but with out a touchscreen or way to control the game all you get is the splash screen. With the Q able to connect to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth it shouldn’t take developers long to turn your phone into a remote or use some other type of Bluetooth control to connect to it.

Yeah i dont either

all it does is stream whatever you got on your play store through using a phone as the control for it. and it will play it on "audiophile" [pic] grade speaker. it can also stream it to other speakers / tv.

Well, and it can do Queues. So if 5 people are logged onto the wifi, and each one has 5 albums, they could put 25 albums onto the Queue and manipulate the play list - like a social DJ at a party.

It needs more functionality though , and I think it will come.
