Motorola and Verizon to hold September 5th event possibly related to Motorola DROID RAZR HD

Circle September 5th on your calendar. We have just received an invitation for an event on that date being held by Motorola and Verizon in the Big Apple. Now, we can think of one device that could be the guest of honor and we're sure that the Motorola DROID RAZR HD came to your mind as well. Considering that the invite was topped by the phrase "Motorola. On Display," we feel very confident that this will be the day that the long awaited new Motorola flagship is unveiled.

What we are looking forward to seeing is a 4.6 inch LCD display with resolution of 720 x 1280, producing a pixel density of 319ppi. The hardest working processor in show business, the dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960, is said to be under the hood with 1GB of RAM. There will be a microSD slot on the unit along with an 8MP camera on back and another shooter in front. With LTE connectivity, the 2530mAh battery might leave the lights on all day, and then some. And Android 4.0.4 will be installed out of the box.

Should the event introduce the Motorola DROID RAZR HD, we're sure to find out the precise launch date and how Verizon plans on pricing this beast. As usual, any decision on price for the new model will affect the rest of the Motorola DROID RAZR line at Verizon. And the date of the announcement is interesting because it is the same day that Nokia is expected to introduce its first two Windows Phone 8 handsets and is also exactly one week before the wraps are expected to be taken off the 6th generation Apple iPhone.

this is BS with droid same whack phones over and over. The screen are getting bigger as well. Droid razr, droid razor maxx and droid razr hd. WTF can you make one solid phone please

That won't come until the Droid Razr HD: Hard On Edition

The Razr Maxx was straight. With the ICS update, it's the closest thing to stock Android that any OEM has gotten too with a custom overlay
