if you wanted it then its not a waste of money. Me personally I would love to get an iPhone but I'm stuck with Sprint for 1 more year. I've thought about getting the iTouch but couldn't bring myself to do it because I would also like the phone aspect.

I bought the 8GB, I'm afraid something else will come along that will be bigger and better. I'm not really concerned with a phone right now, my bro said he would add me to his plan and buy me any phone I want once I finally finish community college.

Money well spent IF youre happy with your current phone

personally i had an ipod touch for two years (1st generation) and i was very happy
now i have an iphone and its soooo much better

ipods are played out. should of went with zune. i cant stand having the same stuff other ppl have. i was walking in downtown seattle today and no lie i counted....i seen 24 people with a iphone....made me want to throw mines away.

wtf ipods played out??????r u f**kin crazy ipods are the best s**t ever invinted when it comes 2 mp3 players....and if u cant stand having the same stuff other people have then i say........thow away your pc because i bet a million people have 1 of those things.....burn down your house alot of people have 1 of those now adays better yet just kill your self alot of people sill have their health why have yours right?

yeah but Iphones are more expensive you gotta pay for service and all that and im sure you don't just want the phone and ipod you gonna want internet and apps whatever you gotta pay monthly for those also so ya bill gonna be like 150-200 bucks easily a month and Iphones themselves are more expensive than itouchs

but yeah itouches is dope i think you be happy with it

I don't see too many people with the itouch/ipod but I know it's popular. I know if I was happy with this PSP with a 2GB memory card for a year and a half this itouch should keep me happy for a long time.

Guess I'll throw this PSP and this itouch rip off on Ebay for a special deal or something.

I copped a 2G iPod Touch 32GB not to long ago off eBay for $160 w/free shipping. The auction was for a 16GB but when I got it it was a 32GB but I aint complaining cause thats a steal.

The only way you wasted your money is with the generic brand iPod touch you just mentioned. Other than that its a good little device to have around especially jailbroken. I be on mines everyday on Youtube, MSN/AIM, music, e-mail, etc. very useful for the typical geek.

There's only 2 things that I dislike about the iPod Touch is that you can't add any music, photos, apps, etc. without using iTunes. I've done countless of Google searches online for an alternative and yet to find one thats decent. The other thing is that it doesn't have a customizable EQ, they only have pre-set EQs.

Other than that and the crazy prices its an excellent device.

Also you might want to cop a good pair of headphones too. I got a pair of "SONY MDR-V700" and they go hard all day long! Has excellent sound quality and outside noise canceling. I hate earbuds myself but if you perfer those then the OE earbuds that come with the iPod should be good.

You must wear skinny jeans? My iPod fits in my pocket perfect, sometimes I forget its even there.
