iPhone 5 To Have Almost Identical Design as 4/4S

iMore has learned that recent parts leaks and dummy phones are accurate representations of what the new iPhone (iPhone 5,1) will look like when Apple announces it on September 12, 2012.

Almost identical in design to the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, the major visible differences will include a 4-inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, a metallic plate across most the back, and a miniaturized Dock connector and relocated 3.5mm headset jack along the bottom.

did the person you quoted actually say it was fake? or are you just lumping all apple users into one category?

i've only seen a few people on this site think the leaks for the 5 were fake. how different can u really make a phone anyway... isn't that why samsung just lost a billie?

I always liked the design, it's always been whats inside that matters and they come out with a fresh and clean iOS 6.. And LTE. If they don't tweak it, I'll just wait for the 5s [pic]

its a phone and your preference..it amazes me why people hate so much on what other people like...if you want a bigger screen the get the s3 but if you want this then get this...only reason I stick with apple is jailbreaking and free apps that I don't have to pay for...if other OS's had a similar feature then I would definitely try them out...

^^ This. All the smartphones look and cost exactly the same. Just depends what OS you like using. I've been using Android for 3 years now. Going to give the new iPhone a try since I like how my iPod touch works.

I don't really think anyone expects a completely revamped design.

Why would Apple change there design when it !!s on every other phone?

With that said, I will be preordering the 12th :)

Go on and hate. After all, y'all need something to do while your phone charges.

Listen, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I am happy that apple is making this one thinner. I thought the iPhone 4 aged well. Towards the end of its shelf life its started to lose its luster. I think them changing the aspect ratio is a smart move considering more movies and shows are becoming widescreen. Plus i'm sure they plan on improving the screen. I would prefer the phone was a little wider, but with it being thinner with the iPhone 5, and not any wider I think it would fit in your hand much better. Apple is very conscious of how they want the phone to feel etc etc.

Would I prefer a new more innovative and crazy design that we've all come to expect from Apple? Yes. But its not happening. I like the Samsung S III thats a sick phone. Apple will be ok though, innovation blossoms with competition. I think its a good thing that Samsung has overtaken Apple phone sales in the last quarter. Might light a fire under their[..] to make some new crazy innovative !!.

This. I love how my ipod just works. Apps and Safari run smooth, only thing I hate is the keyboard cause I like t9 cause it makes the buttons bigger. Me and my wife android always crashing acting crazy and !!. Trying something new. [pic]

no android phone is touching the iphone 4 design, apple would be dumb to change that and also with the glass screen and back, doesn't it feel like unmatched quality in your hand.
