HTC One X Dropping to $99 on Sunday, AT&T already matching

		Radio Shack announced today it is cutting the price of AT&T's HTC One X in half to just $99.99 this Sunday, July 29. And as of this afternoon, AT&T has matched that price online. This new price matches up with similar reports hitting the Internet in the early morning hours. Considering the high-end Android smartphone is only a few months old, the $100 price drop is quite noteworthy. Chances are good that the deep discount comes as a rebuttal to the Samsung Galaxy S3, which is now on sale for as low as $149. Looking across the smartphone landscape, I'm seeing a trend in high-end models getting closer to the $100 price point. AT&T, for its part, will have three top models at this price including the Sony Xperia Ion and Atrix HD. While all three are attractive handsets with drool-worthy specs, the One X is perhaps the best of the pack. It's not immediately clear whether this new price is temporary, but I don't expect it to return to $199 again. Thinking about copping. Not a fan of the GSIII physical appearance. Is this a decent cop or should I wait for something else?

better phones will be here by the end of next season, but for $99, the HOX is a great phone

powerful and speedy

I'm using my wife's upgrade anyway. She's got an iPhone 4 and she has no remote desire to upgrade. It's not that serious to her. She had a Palm Centro before that [pic] I don't keep phones for more than a year anyway so I still got my upgrade on deck. Thanks though, you have given me some things to think about.

I have this phone and I love it. It's well worth the money. Don't listen to those who say wait because you'll end up waiting for a very long time. A newer, more powerful phone will always be around the corner waiting to make your phone obsolete. Go to your local store and check it out on display and see if it's to your liking. BX is filled with delusional fanboys whose opinion should always be taken with a grain of salt, as with every phone review.

not a fan of the lumia anymore?

have you actually seen the galaxy sIII in real life? or just seen videos ?

i think the sIII looks really great in the person.

its a pretty decent deal but if you can wait till november the newer phones will be out.

Aside from the !!ty camera I still like it, but people are complaining about echoing and saying that I sound muffled on their end. I did some research and the echoing thing is pretty common. That's my primary phone for work and I can't have that. I also was in the Homescreen thread a couple of days ago and really miss that customization. Still on the fence because of my last Android experience, but I've heard nothing but good things about ICS.

Choice between S3 and One X? I'd go with s3 always

i miss my touch pro, but i'm not complaining bout my GSIII

i love htc phones because they feel solid. 2 years ago if you told me i would own a samsung phone I would've laughed because they are plastic, fragile[..] phones and just feel cheap.

well I went to the beach on july 4th and like a dumb[..] went into the water with my g2 in my pocket so i was forced to get a new phone (I need my phone for work so i had to have something that day). i was hoping a g3 was coming soon since I've had the g1 and g2 and was gonna wait it out til sept, oct but somehow i was eligible for an early upgrade

I ended up getting the s3. I wanted the one s. the non expandable memory was the biggest thing...the no removable battery was the second....i have my entire music library on my microsd card

i didnt even look at, touch or hold the one s when i went to the t mobile store. walked straight in and asked for the s3

i dont see how you can make a "premium phone" for premium users and not give them features they are used to. if i wanted no removable battery and non expandable memory I'd buy an iphone....
