theres actually quite a bit difference in speed from 1.5 to 1.7 .. atleast thats what ive found .. battery life is still pretty decent and temp is low .. i dunno im keeping mine at 1.7 [pic].. but every unit will be different, not all made to the same quality

aight,so im on 1.7ghz,got all the patches and !!....im trying to install need for speed with preware but it stays on the install screen and just keeps saying install...what do i need to do?

edit:i went through the thread again and in order to install games and !! i need to get ubuntu? so i started looking how to do that and i have to get meta-doctor.im on a mac and to do this i have to get xcode from the developers website and then get macports....is this correct?or is there an easier way

Alright just got my touchpad this morning! Ok I've updated this to 3.0.2. Have a question though. Do I need to download this webdoc thing? I've got the webosquick install thing on my mac so far.

NFS just takes a while to install, you dont need ubuntu at all for games.

I got everything to work except when you type that log code into the phone..

i would say very helpful.

in order to do it, you need to setup skype or pair a pre with the touchpad to get to the dial screen.

oh ok...it shows transferred 295m/295m but just stays on downloading/install and nothing happens,had it on there for like 5 mintues..it takes that long?

edit:yea it finally installed,thought it was freezing up or something...but where do i find it at?its not under apps or downloads

Restart your device, it'll be there.

1 week trial? I've yet to get with a trial, player has been working perfectly fine for me.

I've told ya'll a few times now. Its on mobilism, 1st or 2nd page, you can download it from your touchpad directly.

I downloaded that, but after a week I got hit with some trial bs.

I think I installed mine on like Tuesday or Wednesday, so I'll let you know if I get hit with the trial or not. So far so good though [pic]
