Faster iPhone with A5X Processor And 1GB of RAM And New iPod Touch 5.1 In The Works [REPORT]

After the release of the New iPad and having great success in the market, Apple’s next objective will be releasing the new iPhone. Many rumors have been spread around about the New iPhone. However, a recent report by 9to5mac suggests that Apple is already testing a next generation iPhone with an A5X processor and 1GB of RAM. In addition to that, the report shows that a new iPod Touch 5.1 is currently under development.

The fruit company has a lot to offer this year. The biggest and most anticipated event of the year is the release of the new iPhone 5. There are no definite certainties about the unannounced Apple product. However, we’ve been able to bring you some exclusive news. We told you before that the new iPhone 5 will have LTE compatibility which is considered a forgone conclusion.

Now, more news is uncovering with this recent report by 9to5mac. According to the report, the new iPhone prototype is being used essentially to test an A5X chip. The prototype would have 1GB of RAM, which would speed up the device.
The A5X processor in the new iPad was built in specific to handle the new Retina Display, which would not make any difference being on the new iPhone. However, the iPhone prototypes have a variation of the A5X’s S5L8945X architecture.
The prototype goes under the name of “N96” internally, but this is just a code name which means that will likely never be announced by that name.

Here’s more of what the folks at 9to5mac had to say about the new iPod Touch 5.1:

According to a file inside of an internal iOS 5.1 build, Apple is working on a fifth-generation iPod touch that is labeled iPod 5,1 internally. We haven’t heard any specifics regarding the new iPod touch hardware, but the jump from 4,1 (the current internal iPod touch label) to 5,1 indicates major internal changes, at the very least.

like i said about the evo, it's a smart move for companies to stay with dual core. It's going to be at least a year before the majority of apps take advantage of it.

The S4 on the evo is more powerful than tegra 3. Add the fact that there is apps that is already supporting quad core.

A5x can't compete with tegra 3 on processing power while the s4 outperforms tegra 3 processing power.

i dont know if it's as powerful as the tegra 3 but it is very powerful. most benchmarks dont[..]ess multiple cores properly. and the only quad core apps are the ones that nvidia produces for its processor. it's gonna be a while before quad core apps are mainstream.

The s4 is next Gen processor. It close to a cortex a15(which will power the tegra 4)than a cortex a9(tegra 3). A dual core cortex a15 or krait core is more powerful than a quad core cortex a9. It like comparing a core 2 quad to a dual core i7 at the same clock speed. A dual core i7 is faster than a core 2 quad.

That is why all the bench marks see the s4 outperforms the tegra 3 at processing power and those bench mark apps all read multi core processors. Again you need to do more researching on these processors.

The A5X processor in the iPad isn't that fast or wonderful....side by side comparison with my iPad 2 in the Apple store and the new iPad last week and surprise....the new iPad isn't that fast or much improvement over the iPad 2....infinity blade on my iPad 2 and the new iPad look the same, same frame rate, no real graphical details that the iPad 2 doesn't have.......Samsung Galaxy 3 will blow the new iPhone out the water, watch!

The A5X in the iPad features a quad core graphics chip that outperforms the Tegra 3. Outside of that, it's the same ol from Apple.

the S4 isnt on the Evo 4g unless you count the unreleased HTC One X that's will be on Sprint.

I'm guessing the iPhone will have the following
Lte
10 or 12 megapixel camera
1080p video recording and 720p front facing camera
4 inch screen
gorilla glass
And I hopeful a new UI design ISO 6.0

If this happens I'll be all over that day one!

Specs look good on paper... but how many apps really take advantage of quad-core processors?

I'm good w/ Dual Core processors on the next phone... i'm actually good w/ my 4s. Fanboys that drool over specs are hilarious.

that HTC one x for sprint is called the Evo 4g LTE hence why I called it the evo which sprint announced last week.

And the people who call people geeks and saying apps don't use 4 cores yet, but many of the good looking games are for quad core processor with powerful gpu. An the main people who called us fan boys and geek are iPhone owners out of all people.

I dont know if I just havent seen any reports but are there any talks about the 5 coming to T-Mobile? Im eligible for an upgrade right now but I dont want to pull the trigger and in a few months I hear they are getting it.
