If you want to get technical like an angry nerd, then you are right. But cmon, son. No one is getting the two confused. Saying "Windows PC" is basically redundant these days.

Got a 3 year old HP DM4 that cost me $800 and it runs just as good as it did on the first boot. Most people are to cheap to buy a $50 anti virus program but will spend $2000 on a Mac [pic]

I mean if you guys are going out and buying these $300 laptops and they break down after 2 years what do you expect? You spent $300 on a computer, which is like buying a car for $1500 and thinking it won't have problems.

It comes down to maintenance which is still seems most people don't know how to do. Your computer is slow either because you went cheap and got a computer with barely enough memory for you in the start, or you keep downloaded !! with malware, viruses all in it. And the reason the same stuff doesn't effect a mac is because they aren't built to effect macs. You can set your computer to do a weekly sweep automatically to prevent 90% of the problems you may have. The other 10% can be prevented by common sense.

But for some people macs are great because they simple for people who have a hard time doing this. Got people with 5 anti-viruses running on their computer with 2 gigs of ram wondering why their computer is slow and trying to play diablo 3.

nicca like me aint never going back to PC.. Got my 27" IMAC last year it still as fast today as the day i got it. Absolutly no issues..

Im hoping to pick up macbook probably today or tomorrow.

it really ain't that much of a difference I like the screen on it
an all, but i still rather use a PC....Apple too overpriced for no reason

[pic] gtfoh with that !!. Apple wants to be special and not compatible with other devices but just apple LOLLL. I have android and windows phone both work fine on almost all windows products !! even the windows phone is great with my google tv and i'm not talking about the addon google tv this is google tv 55". This is why I don't buy apple products and never will telling I need a mbp iphone and i cloud to get half the !! working. COme on be real.

[pic] ive had my dell laptop for 8 years. built an AMD based desktop which hasn't had a single problem in 2 years. i just dont see how a mac is worth that much more if you know your way around computers. I plan on building a hackintosh next. 1,500 isn't that bad though might have to cop for video editing or sumthin.
