So my question is, did I get jipped? or did I get a steal?

Should I just sell em on Amazon and get a profit?

i like sennheiser, although they dont really have a house sound. i have the hd650s, hd25-1 II, and had the ie8s. i dont really !! with the bottom tier of their !! but from what i hear its worth its $$

the audio tech,and sony mdrs are straight? i want to cop some nice headphones for less than 100..ive been looking at some sennheisers(280)(429)(439),sonys(MDR-XB500 or 700) and audio techs...any recommendations?

ath-m50 used to be $100. ive seen them for 100 recently. they are really good for the money. another pair id recommend for slightly more accurate is the Brainwavz HM5 (Jaycar FA-003/ Fischer Audio FA-003, same can just has a bunch of rebrands of the same oem)

ive never been a fan of any of the sony stuff personally.

Sony and audio technica give you the best bang for your buck

no way. senn makes the best imaging and engineering headphone out there. hd800 is amazing. the orpheus he90 system was dope as !! too. the ie800 will probably be sick too (although prolly overpriced). [pic]

with any brand the higher stuff are going to be good...i was just talking about the low-mid level stuff...hd500 and up are like top notch...

I can't really stand Sennheiser. They're too treble happy to the point that snares and hi-hats hurt my ears. I've owned the PXC 450s and those were cool for noise cancelling, but from experience the best Sennheiser's that I've tried so far were the HD 558s

how do these compare with the top of the line Bose.....the over ear noise cancellation !!.

This...their high end is too pronounced and good luck getting any bass response with them !!s. My mixes used to damn near bust my subs after taking off some senns [pic]

OP, ultrasones are another can company that can get you set up real nice for $90-120

I've had my MM 550 for about a year.
I love them. I was on a plane last night and the
TalkThrough technology (one press of a button activates external microphone) was perfect, every time my girl kept trying to talk to me during a movie, I didn't have to remove my cans once.
Another feature I love is the invisible microphone for receiving phone calls while using them. You never have to take them off.
But best of all The buttons work seamlessly with my iPad & iPhone.
