11 Shocking Facts about Apple |
| | ||||
| | ||||
| http://www.wealthdaily.com/articles/...out-apple/3599 Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) reported its 3Q12 numbers. The tech giant missed the Street’s revenue and profit targets. But it doesn’t matter, as you’ll soon see... In addition to being the largest company in the world, Apple is quickly becoming the most efficient and productive company the world has ever seen. You see, even though Apple grew its revenue and net profit by a smaller amount than Wall Street was expecting, it was Apple's cash balance that shocked analysts and investors alike. To date, Apple has $117 billion in the bank. That’s expected to grow to $200 billion by this time next year. With a market cap of $571 billion, Apple is the largest company in the world — by far. Apple’s revenue for the trailing 12 months is $148 billion, with a net profit of $40 billion.
But you would be wrong. Apple’s product pipeline[..]ures it will remain as ubiquitous as Kim Kardashian's secks life. Based on its valuation versus current earnings growth, I estimate Apple is 50% undervalued... which means it should double from here. |

Microsoft were apple in the 90's. No one thought they could be even touched. Now Apple is more than double microsoft's worth. No investors are putting money into microsoft. There are no returns. This past quarter was their first loss IN 26 YEARS. Apple is increasing profits every quarter and Microsoft is going the other way. The video game market is dying. Hotmail used to be the top, gmail is k!lling it now. Going into a tablet market where Apple dominates 90 percent of it, and Microsoft trying to release a 1000 dollar tablet LOL. You could buy the ARM version for 500 but who's gonna buy that over an Ipad where the app store is 100000 Times larger. Buy sony and Nintendo?? Are you stupid. where are u gonna get gonna 100 billion dollars in cash?? Only Apple has that. No one is gonna lend Microsoft that much money. People like QualityRecords should stay in school and be further educated. There's a reason why Microsoft's stock is worth 20 dollars per share and Apple is at 600 dollars per share. | ||

| Yeah it's unbelievably, ridiculously, obscenely crazy how much cash they're sitting on. And it's not like they need to make any acquisitions either. Apple is thriving. Companies do come to an end, but in Apple's case, they'll always be able to sell products, but eventually another "genius" will come out with a product that can compete/beat them. | |
