Mortal Kombat II or Street Fighter II

picked up mortal kombat shaolin monks and unlocked MKII and realized this game was def a classic and kinda like it better then street fighter II which i still play constantly

mortal kombat was ''different'' and def stepped up tha visual part of games

mk 2 is among the best fighting games ever sf 2 too but mk is much better

I had more fun with street fighter 2 back in the day but they both classics

i played mortal kombat 2 the day it came out in the arcade and had an absolute blast playing it sf 2 was a classic but my fav was mortal kombat 2 hands down "sub zero wins...FATALITY"

MK2 was hot great fatalities and shit but come on SF2 fucken hell the whole series is Nuts hitting those combos!!!

back in my prime, u couldnt stop me when i was reptile. id be doin every combo in the book and countering all the attack. close to a flawless victory everytime. then finish my foes off with a fatality.

i had kids standin in line at the arcade tryin to take me out.

But seriously, I put in lots of work on both these classics, but Ima give it to SF2. SF2 was the first arcade game that I got into and couldnt stop. We use to bum quarters in the parking lot of Phar-mor, hitting adults with "exscuse me, I need to call my mom to come get me but I dont have a quarter can you help?" Those idiots had no clue there was three or four of us doing that inside and outside the store. We would get a couple of bucks and just play that ish for hours. I liked MK2 alot but there was always a bunch of rednecks around that machine freaking out and going crazy when someone did a fatality. "awh man, that was bad he knocked his head off," or "hey tommy you see him turn into that drangon and eat him, dude them anamalities are wicked" Of all the MK games Ive played, MK2 was the best though. First game you could really fu ck someone up with an air-juggle.

I prefer the gameplay in sf2. While I think the first 3 MK games were fun, I just see them as gimmick games over all. Without the gore, people wouldnt care about Midways fighter.

haha i remember when they made such a huge deal about the gore and started making ratings for games and then a ton of other games had blood added to them

i choose street fighter!!

MK2 was the best in the series and im going with that coz i spent more time playin it then i did playin street fighter
