I liked most of it, there is one storyline that doesn't really fit in theme or tone, and the ending is a little too storybook

Halle as a white girl should of shown more[..]

shouldnt matter.. Avatar had mad showtimes.. I live in Houston,TX.. and it's only one Imax showing this in the entire !!in city! Guess what they're showing? Yup..Paranormal Activity 4. Not only that.. the showtimes are extremely limited... I'm reading that the movie is somewhat independent so I[..]ume that explains it.. but still.. The budget for this movie had to CRAZY and they need to make their bread

I gave it a 4/5. It was good, the plot(s) wasnt mind blowing, but i think its cool what they try to do I enjoyed watching it. Ill have to see it again to catch everything and appreciate it better, but i think ill probably read a few synopsis or talk to a few people about it before i watch it again. Probably wont pay see 9 bucks to see it again thou.

You can tell from the trailer that they completely butchered this classic novel. Read the book.

It's one of those movies you watch and at times have no idea what's going on, but still is entertaining and has good acting so you still like it.

I saw Cloud Atlas and I'm still forming an opinion, but I think it was good. I understand why they had actors playing multiple roles, but in some cases it was poorly done and just came off as silly. Also, I would have liked it if they stuck closer to the novel in the way the stories were arranged. In the end though, like many film adaptations of novels, there was just too much to put into a movie, and I don't know if what they ended up with would make any sense to someone who hasn't read the novel.

Movie made complete since from a metaphysical standpoint. Once you actually realize whats going on, its amazing to watch, the writer of that book is a genius.

Didn't you think that using the same actors throughout all the different stories was 1. a bit obvious and 2. really going hard on something that was only hinted at in the book as a possibility, and only for one person, not a set of people?
