Worst and Best Car Audio Brands?

^ no offense but i', sick of people asking this, there is NO best, PERIOD. everybrand has it's pros and cons, you just have to find a brand you like. we can suggest better brand but there still is no best

to a point that is very correct. if your satisfied with what you have thats good, but all we can tell you is to look at the list in this thread and try to find something in in your budget

Best brand of subwoofers are Kickers, but for the amps is anything with D-cla#s

i'm sorry but your a !!ing idiot, there are much better subs than kickers, anything that is sold at a retail shop like best buy and circuit city can never be considered the best, RE will smash kicker anyday. thats just one example

Yea,that pretty much raps that up for all the brands. I myself got a bd1000 watt Rockford Power amp. The older one that's like grey lookin. Small as heck but gives out some sho fire power. I got it pushin 4 old rockford H E's. Sounds luvly in my Impala.

Legacy amps are not bad, i had a 1600w legacy pushing 2 jl w6's while i was saving up for a jl 1000 and they hit almost just as hard on that legacy as they did with the jl, i actually wish i didnt waste all that money on the jl amp

Nah they were dual 4 ohm....had two directed 1100D's running them in that pic. Sold em to one of my homies and changed to 2 15's and got a "lil" louder.:D

what about the Memphis M3Mojo series and the LVS series what catagory are those in cause memphis has said that they put 4 of their 4000 watt amps on a single M3Mojo15 Quad 1ohm and the Lvs series are supposed to be some of the loudest subs around

i think you fogot to put Hifonics "Goliath Series" sub which is their SPl competition sub

I was always thold that Cerwin Vega made amazing, good quailty subs but im not gettin into comp or n e of that just high quality...guess not

Anyway i have 2 Hifonics 10" ZEUS subs(8 ohms) that are dual voice coil n i think an rms of 500 watt each but not sure if thats the peak...ive sent 280 watts to it n it hasnt blown which is why i think that is the RMS rating n not the Peak.

What would be a good amp to power these subs along wit the right box. I currently have them in a bandpa#s which i herd sucks[..] so wut would u uys reccomend...

Also i was told by sumone that their son was sellin 2 cerwin vega subs in perfect condition but he wasnt sure if these were 10's or 12's...a#suming they were 10's would cerwin vega outdo hifonics ZEUZ? Caus ei have to admit those ZEUZ pound for a entry level sub
