When's it necessary? (Batteries & Capacitors)

Okay guys! I am working on a "dream" setup! Did my research on products and I've came up with a few selections. Plan on getting 2 KICKER S15L7 15" L7 subs (Totaling @ 4ohms: 2000rms/4000max) and a MA AUDIO HK4000D amp (2000rms @ 4ohms). Will I need an additional battery in the trunk to power this setup? And will I need a capacitor? The amp itself reads the Temperature, Voltage, and Output Level via LCD Display.

Try to find good prices on a Kinetik, Stinger, Optima, or PowerMaster.

@ 4 ohms?

not happening, unless your running a 18 volt system. even then probably wont see it
that amp will not produce anything around 2k @ 4 ohms, they are overrated and youll need more than just an additional battery to see anything decent.

definitely look for something else. especially if your paying over 300 for it

I would recommend at least a 250amp h/o alt and at least 2 31 series batts....at least.....those things are current hogs...

thats if we talking daily...if we talking for comps/burps only then you could get away with a large battery bank...

how much are you trying to spend?
and why are you trying to get that much power at 4 ohms?

the price really doesn't matter. and i just want the subs to be fully powered. just want to produce a nice amount of clean bass. and no i'm not into competition. just like the thump in the trunk! lol. and the girls just smileeeeee when they get inside

CAPS ARE TRASH GO WITH BATTS, UPGRADE BIG 3(SEE GOOGLE), H/O ALT AND THEN YOU'LL BE GOOD O AND ANOTHER AMP WOULD BE THE BEST OPTION WHATS YOUR BUDGET LIKE THEY SAID UPTOP? AND YES MONEY IS A FACTOR YOU CAN PAY 200 FOR A !!TY AMP OR 800+ FOR SOME GOOD !!

i have a 08 fusion. doubt if the box will fit? i have two 12s in the trunk now with some height clearance. but if i need to downgrade the size, let me know

Get 2 10's instead

1 15 needs about 6 cubes after port and sub displacment..so that's 12+ cubic feet you need for them to perform correctly. A sub is only as good as the box it's in. 2 12's would be too much of a tight fit and the subs wont be able to unload correctly.
