| Ghost what type of battery in the trunk is that? And does it eliminate light dimming. I wanna run an MTX 81000d to two Type R's. | |

| the battery is a stinger, and it does help, but the best upgrades i did to help with dimming are upgrading my alt and my wires, including the big 3 one GhosT | |

type r's aren't the best but they are a good bang for your buck r's-more spl based s's-reference level, not as loud as the r's but still hit kind of hard x's-more sq based, alpines flagship woofer, also handle about 3x's as much power as the r's one GhosT

| right now... HU: Pioneer Premier DEH-P490IB Front Speakers: MTX Thunder Axe TX6001 Components Rear Speakers: Kenwood 6" x 9" 5-Way KFC-6980IE Front Speakers Amp: Hifonics Titan TXi6006 Subwoofers: (3) JL Audio 12W3 (2 v3's and 1 v2) Subwoofer Amp: Hifonics BXi 1606D *the reason I have 3 mismatch subs is because I owned 2 w3v2's originally (as shown below). I wanted to add to that, but the car place around here didn't have those anymore, so they gave me a v3. Then one of my old v2's blew, so they replaced it with a v3. Thus the current setup. Now the problem is that I have, two single 4 ohm woofers, and 1 dual 4 ohm, and I'm not sure I'm getting the max out of the Brutus. So I'll be grabbing one more v3 and possibly selling the v2. Since the shop has buy 1 get one free, I'll just have 4 v3's for the next vehichle I buy. [pic] for some reason, this setup was louder than what i have now [pic] my old radio.......got stolen [pic] [pic] [pic] [pic] [pic] Last edited by focused313; 03-03-2008 at 06:05 PM.. | |

| darn it, the !! still bangs.....so perhaps they wired it in a such a way that it doesn't matter. The v2 might be a dual-2 ohm. All I know is that it's plenty loud. I gotta do the formula for resistance and see what's really going on. | |

Wow!!! thats not a very smart thing to do. I would get rid of the v2 and just goin wit the v3s. You will not get full potential out that amp wit yo current setup. for some reason, this setup was louder than what i have now [pic] i wonder why it was louder? maybe cause you had it lower ohm load sendin more power to the subs (guessin its the same amp), more airspace for the subs, from the looks yo current setup is sealed so a ported box is another reason y it was louder.

| Damn focused, I remember you talkin about JL stuff in the past(on urb1). I come to see that your setup wasn't nearly as good as I would've thought. IT doesn't look that way anyway, but I'm sure its loud. | |
