| My car is blowing cold air one day, then hot air the next |
| By bigghen05 - 05-05-2010, 03:41 PM - Boxden > Whipz 'n Stereos (vehicles, sound systems) I have been driving my 2006 Honda accord SE for 3 months and my AC is blowing cold air one day, then blowing hot air the next day. I do not know wtf is going on. Any suggestion on what the problem is? I'm in Houston and it is hot as !!. |

| Maybe you're running out of freon? Might need to be recharged. I know my car started to blow out warm air when the A/C was on and it just needed to be recharged. | |

[pic] It recharges/recycles and recovers r134a refrigerant. Situations like this is very common when you don't use a/c during the winter time. Half the !! just sits in there and basically turns into vapor. [pic]

| I think I'm having the same problem. When I use the ac then turn it off cold air still blows out. In the winter whenever I used my heater then turned it off hot air would blow out. I also stay in houston and yes it's hot as !! | |

Freon is real bad for the environment and thus banned. They use things similiar to it not that they claim is good for the environment

| yea you may be low on freon also check you evaporator may be dirty or clogged and may cause these issues its the usually located in in the front or behind the radiator looks somewhat similar just smaller and thinner. just in case u didnt no, if the fins are filled with dirt air cannot pass thru therefore the freon will not cool down enough to provide cold air | |
