| Mothers How-To Detail Your Car - Dude does EVERYTHING in this video. |
| By DarkSidesHero - 08-10-2012, 06:34 PM - Boxden > Whipz 'n Stereos (vehicles, sound systems) I know I have the detailing sticky up there but I figured I'd throw this video in the main section as well. Everything used is Mothers Products. Guy does a good job walking you through all them

| No before and after of the car? I may have skipped. Man that process seems like it would take alotta hours and alotta towels. I'd rather pay somebody a couple hundred to hook me up. | |

| He did before/after if the chrome rims and headlights. That truck was pretty clean any way so i doubt yiu would have seen a dramatic djfference. Thats why if i was to do this type of video id get a dirty car and just do half of it. | |

| I like to believe...if another man can do it....so can I....and this is something I refuse to even try. I rather drop it off at a widely recommended shop and let it be. i know a good clay bar and all that stuff does work wonders though. a dudes black mustang was dead. swirls, faded, etc.... collision shops were saying $1500 to paint it. he took it to a spot who charged $250 total clay, wax, even a clear coat. that !! shined like it was new, minus the few dings. they even get those out, but it costs more. | |

| I always use Mother's...getting a good detailing will take up to 8 hours. Usually you can divide the time by starting on one section and then finishing another section another time. You'll be straight once you claybar and wax...then add the sealant | |

| ^^ sealant is used before the wax.. You'll get 99% of your shine from polishing though. | |
