| The fact of how old a car is doesnt apply to the engine if mileage is low and the car was maintained properly. As long as you know to take care of your car and keep up on maintenance age wont become an issue. Is the Audi your buying a 1.8T (turbo model) or V6 Model? I know the 1.8T are known for turbo issues and premature turbo failure, if oil isnt changed every 3,000 the engine may develop oil sludge issues from low oil pressure, and all Volkswagen/Audi cars have electrical problems (sunroof randomly opening, window switches not working etc) European cars are more pricey to maintain than a Japanese or American but they are just as reliable as Japanese car with a little more TLC put into them But like i said if it was maintained properly from the previous owner there shouldnt be too much to worry about. Maybe take a mechanic with you to look at the car, talk them down to $3000 | |

!!.. I been looking at '89-'91 Honda Civic and '89-'93 Nissan 240sx lately, cheap, reliable and easy to fix. But real talk though, I find myself not liking anything newer than '03. | ||
