i got a ticket for 63 in 35 in Greenwich Ct...but i'm from NY what are the rules in ct anyone know?

yeah it was unintentional too i was going maybe 50 mph but let go of gas/brakes and let my car catch the speed from a hill and then the lights went off :[

well the first thing he told me was i had to go to court 3/20 and i was wondering since its out of state do i get points taken off or how does that work

Nothing you can really do. Go take it to court for a reduction of cost...

No...it depends on NY state..what could happen is this..

NY wont hear anything about the speeding...it takes time to transfer. Once NY hears word of the ticket, you get points.

Since NY borders CT, NY might find out about ASAP and you'll get points.

Greenwich is the richest city in the state...I doubt it. If it happened on I-95, he has more of a chance at reducing the price, thats it.

!! just today comin' from my jobs meetin' I was felt like haulin'[..], so I hopped on the interstate/highway (speed limit is 55-60 I think) and I was doin' 100-110. [pic]

Just when I had gunned it too I had saw the Sherriffs on the right shoulder scannin' people for speedin' but luckily I was next to this big[..] truck as I was flyin' by and aint get caught. I swear.. I almost !! my pants when I had just passed them and realized I was speedin' so you know I hopped off the interstate faster than a !!! After I had got off I was just thinkin' to myself like "Damn.. what if he would've got me?!" Then I started thinkin' about that ticket I aint pay, plus doin' well 50+ over the speed limit, jail time, court time, and my whip bein' confiscated. Multiple Ls in 1 day. [pic]

Ima avoid the interstate as much as possible now cause every time I hop on it I be wantin' to race and ish. Ima start drivin' "Ms. Daisy" from now on.

!! i got a 110 in a 55 near Philly Airport.

got court april 28th, i got speeding for 290$, careless driving for 119, reckless driving for 240.
total of 13 points on my license. 6 gets it suspended.
!!in state trooper got me.

had to pay the lawyer 1500, looking at a possible license suspension of 1 year.

craziest part is.......this is the FIRST and only ticket i've ever got, and the only single thing ever in my life on my record. no arrests, no nothing.

im still not sure i was really doing 110 though lol. i drive a 1995 camry

im already out the 1500 for the lawyer, and the fines i can get a payment plan, but if they jerk my license man, thats !!ed up.

specially cus like, i can legitimately drive. only reason i was even near 110, is cus all the other !!s do like 90, and people cant drive, im gettin cut off left and right, so i accelerate to break away a little and get some space (i dont like driving next to people man), and musta went right through the speed trap at 110.

i wasnt like switching lanes and cutting people off at 110, just goin fast in a straight line, so i think the tickets are a little excessive if they take my license, but im not gonna front like im innocent, ima just pay the fines

Here, it's $175 if u go 10mph or less, over the limit.

And its $10 more, for ever 10 Miles after that.

Example:
Doing 65 on a 45.
Would be, $175 + $10 (for doing 55) + $10 (for doing 65) = $195.

So $200, for going 20 miles over.
