Dude tried to dip off of the ticket.once them meter maid cops start writing them u no ain't no stopping it. Cops do that !! all the time when someone tries to pull off while getting a parking ticket. No matter if the dude was in a ferrari or in a p.o.s. Honda no ones gonna get away with running over a cops foot. And niccas that siding with dude is only on his !! cuz he got a ferrari.

I know I saw a dumba#s saying handle it in their courts. No !!head, anyone with sense knows we don't want to deal with their courts. niccas getting money know their rights, it's only broke idiots who think that cops can do what ever they want.

These are peace officers we're talking about, their was no harmed party in this situation until the cop stood in front of a vehicle he KNEW was in motion.

You truly are a moron and need to retake your drivers test if you dont understand why they guy was arrested . Always obey a police officer a drivers license is a privlege not a right . First he was writing the ticket my police friends tell me if you get there prior to the ticket being written you might get out of it but this was not the case . Second he said STOP this person obviously believed rules do not apply to him wake up call . In what world do you think that he would be allowed to drive away mid ticket ? I will debate this all day !

no I agree but him trying to run over a cop could end up far worst than just taking the ticket and handling it in court.

driver coulda handled that better, and i don't care how wrong the cop is you can't hit him with your car. that's why you lawyer up and f!ght in court. some of you need to grow up, or you'll be getting arrested unnecessarily like the Ferrari driver. dude coulda ate that ticket, even if the charges get lowered, he still had to sit in jail for a day, which is still a huge L.

you must not be from NYC, NYPD swear they can do anything they please. So you always have to second guess and police officer and city cops are the most uneducated police officers if you know law you can quickly outsmart some ask any boxen that dealt with one. i almost got arrested for talking slick to an officer you know what he said i will snuff you right now i was like your a cop trying to snuff me i told him !! you straight to his face i was chilling in a bad neighborhood so he was treating like an nicca that i wasn't. i told him i will sue his department and have him working at broken traffic lights and directing traffic when i was done with him. Yeah, after viewing the video again, the cop is gonna get his !! handed to him. Not only did he walk in front of the car, put he put his foot not once, but twice in the way of the tire and thus his foot was run-over. When they think think they are above the law, they get exposed for the uneducated and sleeze-ball POS that they are.

dont know about the rules in the US, but here in London if they write you a ticket you can drive off but you still gotta pay for it. but without the ticket might be hard to do so lol.. police is an !! obv for punching the car and being a broke[..] but the was a douche if you can afford a ferrari, whats a few bills?

i'd like a follow up post on what the outcome was behind this, i'd like to see that cop have to pay for any repairs needed, that car was scratched up, it needs a paint job now, make the cop pay both that and the ticket......

So answer this question if your in the middle of doing something (does not matter what) and a cop says stop doing that do you really think its the smartest idea to not stop ? I dont care what part of the country your from . The cop will react a certain way to protect themselves . Im not justifing there reaction but if your in a bad part of town the cops will likely be more aggresive thats just self preservation . Once you start using the car as a weapon your lucky you dont get shot . You guys are hilarious thinking one cent will be paid because his ride got dinged .

If a cop is writing you a ticket accept it, and if you're in a legal space record it at that point in time while the officer is writing you a ticket showing that where you parked is legal and you are being given a unlawful ticket.

You don't hop in your car and try to drive off while an officer is trying to give you a ticket. The cop was dumb in the fact he thought his leg would stop the car but you don't expect people to try and drive off while writing a ticket.

Ultimately they're both at fault by making bad choices on how to handle the situation, but the driver is lucky he was only pulled out the car and pushed down. Since the cop could have drawn his weapon and fired by saying he thought his life was in danger thinking the driver was trying to run him over.

The cop will have 2 weeks on desk duty and the driver won't be reimbursed for the damages to the car nor will he have a lawsuit since he was being given a ticket and decided it was ok to drive away from the officer.[pic]

Unfortunately for BX, you are correct... The driver does not have a case.

Although the cop was probably escalating the situation, I think he was acting in his lawful authority.

Are police in America allowed to stop people for driving offences? If so the cop is right

Are you allowed to knowingly run someone over even if that person is in your way? If not the cop is probably right

Is it wise to keep driving after a cop punches your window and tells you not to move?
