Cadillac cancelled the project recently and is putting the funds towards building an LS460/7 Series/S-Class/A8 competitor. We should expect the next XTS to be built from the ground up like both the ATS and CTS are now.

i think it replaced the sts.
Duh...it's a stop gap until they come out with their true 7-Series competitor. I didn't know if they would continue the XTS branding or move to something else.

I would much rather see Cadillac put forth some serious effort into their Converj a production model (Or really a straight up plug-in)

The converj is coming out as the Cadillac ELR.
