Buick Lesabre ^^^^^

Chevy Impala ^^^^^^

The cars pictured ARE NOT the actual cars that I would get. They are only for viewing purposes. (Google Images)

And what's the most miles you would allow on these cars when buying one?

ok, for 3-4 grand im sure u can find a much nicer car

if u just looking for something to get u from home to school then you could just buy like a corolla or something man

...Go With The Impala.

Lesabre Are Not Bad But They Known To Give Headaches Under The Hood. Some Will Say The Impala Will Give You A Headache As Well But The Parts Will Be Cheaper. Get You A V6 and You Should Be Safe On Gas Since Your A College Student On A Budget.

For These Cars & The Price Range, You Look At The Mileage On These Things To Be In Around 130K or 150K & Up Range Which Is Alright, Just Make Sure Tune Ups & Updates Been Done On Them In The Recent Months Before Buying.

if u need a cheap reliable type of car, i'd look at crown vics. theres a lot of reasons why they were cop cars for so long and why used as taxi's.

they are cheap to buy, built like tanks, and cheap/easy to fix.

i have a mustang but i might buy a police package crown vic just to have a 4 door / automatic.

Them Damn Crown Vics Drink Gas Like A Mutha!!a Like A SUV. I Rather Keep My Camaro SS Before Owning A Crown Vic. If You Old and Want A Big Car Then A Crown Vic Will Do But Hell Naw...Not For A College Student.

Impala for sure.

Since you want a bigger car you can get a early 90 Lexus LS for around 3-5k but you probably don't want a old[..] car though. People drive the !! out of them too so the mileage is going to be scary high.

gas is cheaper than repairs or cars dieing. MPG is a poor way to imagine things, look at the real life difference.

[pic]

based on 15k miles per year, the crown vic would be about 400 bucks more in gas compared to an impala. and only a thousand dollars more for the entire year driving 15,000 miles compared to a honda civic - (thats about a cell phone bill per month difference)

and i'd rather keep a Camaro SS before a crown vic too, i didnt mean i was gonna sell my GT to get 1.

back to the kid tho trying to buy a cheap bucket, good luck with whatever u choose. at this price range it will be a high chance of failure and will depend on the actual history of whichever car you do choose.

...Crown Vic Big V8 VS Impalas Little V6....That $400 Can Be Spent On Like Books or Extra Things For,Homie.

Yes Gas Is Cheap But The Price Range He Working With. Them Cars Going Have Some Wear & Tear To It. Im Looking At Parts & Labor If He Ever Runs Into Them....The Service Will Be Cheaper Dealing With A Impala. Them Crown Vics Is Consider "Luxury" Cars To Some Mechanics & They Will Try To Hit Him With "Arm & Leg" Prices To Repair.

He Too Tall For A Civic....Thats Like A Go-Cart To Some Dudes. [pic]

^^^k, ona real, a corolla is not as small as u think it is, im 6'2 and i sat in one 2012 model before and i fit fine. Its the rear seats that will be a tight fit.

but me personally if i was still in college and just needed a car to get from point A to B , i aint tryna stunt in college or nun, i would have just copped a civic

you need to ask a mechanic these questions after they have looked at both vehicles...and then you have to decide on your own the money issues (mpg, insurance costs differences, etc...)
