Bike tries to outrun WRX STI (hit and run)

I was cruising up to Hyalite with a couple of friends and out of no where this crotch rocket tries to pa#s me and the 2 cars behind me, going at least 80 mph and the d-bag realized that they were coming in too hot and clipped my front bumper.

Then they try to take off and out run me. After realizing that I was keeping up they finally gave up.

Filmed on a GoPro Hero2 with a custom tow hook mount off the front bumper.

2006 Subaru WRX Limited, STi 6-spd, FP 18g turbo.

Why wouldn't he just dip onto some side streets or something?

On a side note that scenery looks nice. Could take a bunch of pics of my whip on that green gra#s.

he should of slowed down then turned the opposite way on the road and he could of prob got away by the time the guy turned on the road

Also its some riders out there who are on a next level. Im sure a more skilled rider would have been able to push that bike a bit harder and be able to get away. I dont know the specs of that STI, but on acceleration alone the bike should be more than able to get a good distance on him

id say the sti had about 4-450 ish whp

He was just not that skilled of a rider. A bike could easily dip on an sti.

sti wont outrun a bike but it will keep up when it comes to turns /bends like it did. if it was the interstate sti would of been left.

i think he didnt want to run anymore. could of been n@sty for him he seemed scared to even come out and go on his knees.

you're[..]uming that the guy would slow down and try to turn around as well. you just hit this dude's car and tried to run so obviously he's pissed off. yeah if i was in the STI !! turning around, I'm plowing through you when I see you slowing down [pic]

yea dude isnt an experienced rider because he isnt dragging the knee but he could have pulled over and let dude get out of the car then just roll out

I'm not suprised the sti kept up, not every rider is experienced and willing to sacrifice their life just to get away. I'm sure if it was a straight line and thatsti was heavily modded, he would keep up. Again, this is all debatable

So is dude going through insurance to pay for damages ?
