Audi R8 ($134,000) burns to the ground in Toronto

This happened near my work today:
Over on TheStar.com yesterday, Yamri Taddese reported that the Gardiner Expressway that follows Toronto’s lake shore had been closed briefly as emergency crews extinguished a car fire.

At the time, police reported that the fire was extinguished quickly. A video posted by YouTube user bigalburrows shows that the car was none other than an Audi R8.

Starting at $134,000, the R8 makes use of aluminum and composite materials in its construction. As we can see in the video, there is nothing left of the composite sections of the car, as fire f!ghters move material away from the car with shovels to slow down the burn. This is not a happy day for one Toronto supercar owner.

Sucks for that guy, Tyga should watch out.
