Besides, GM has decided to rectify and improve the faults and shortcoming of the interiors of C6. This is the reason, our sources reveal, that the carmaker has decided to introduce cabin upgrade. They have further planned to make major changes in the door panel, seating, and the trim. However, the things that provided comfort and ease in C6 will be retained in 2013 Corvette C7.

Engine

Among all the changes, the ones in the performance of the car are interesting. The 2013 Corvette C7 offers three engine options to choose from. First, a 6.2L V8 that produces 460 horsepower and 460 pound-feet torque. Second is the 7.0L V8 that has the capacity to produce 570 horsepower and torque of 525 lb-ft. And if you want a more powerful one, there is the 6.2L supercharged V8 the can generate 700 horsepower and 630 pound-feet torque. There is an option to ride in either 6-speed manual or automatic transmission.

The attraction

With these changes, the new 2013 Corvette C7 gets a more powerful engine, a better style, lighter in weight, fuel efficient, and comfortable interiors. There are reasons enough to attract the buyers.

Price

Although the design and performance has been improved, GM will charge the buyers heftily for these changes. The base model is expected to be sold for $51,400 and the top one will be around $109,000.

Nice car. Only thing i dont like about it is the front headlights is too small for my taste. they better have the blinding hid lights on it.

But we haven't seen what the new Z06 or ZR1s are going to look like... They're obviously coming out if you read the article (7.0L and Supercharged 6.2.... That's Z06 and ZR-1) and they always add stuff to the Z06 to make it look better than the base model anyway. flared out fenders, hood scoop, wheel... So yeah I'd like to think than an $80,000 that could be bought in '09 or '10 wouldn't completely be outshined by a $50,000 car that can be bought in 2011

Plus I'm not sure I'm convinced that's exactly what the final product will look... I can't say I'm buying it...GM always switches up a lot of stuff between concept teasers and what ends up coming out for production...
