2000-2002 Range Rover

Thinkin about coppin a 3rd generation Range Rover for under $10,000 with low miles....I have heard these cars have suspension issues the with air ride system that comes stock and its a hassle to replace once they go...what do ya'll know about 2000-2002 range rovers?

they got a lot of expensive problems, buying a cheap one will be a disaster. i would never own one without a warranty.

yea the suspension is gonna be a problem unfortunately its gonna be the least of your problems, range rovers are beautiful trucks but mechanically they are s**t. if u really gonna get one please get one thats still in warranty

I am actually selling a 2000 now. I had some 22 inch kaotics on it and it looked great but it was a money pit. I bought mine for 20000 in 03 and put 20000 into by Jan 2009. My suspension has gone out twice at around 3500 a pop, the engine blew, and countless other problems. Now that they are owned by ford the will be getting better but unless you have a lot of money that you just dont want do not buy an old range rover...

Ford sold the land rover sink hole over a year ago....but anyway, the few people I have known that had ranges re-sold them in less than two years time because of all the maintenance issues.

I honestly dont know how the company has lasted as long as they have.

Cuz they make overpriced trucks rich people buy to show off in. The interiors are terrible for a high-end truck.

I'm about to get an 06-07 and i'm only keepin it till the warranty is done cuz those joints are pure money pits after that
