I agree with four of those, but scarface is one of the most overrated movies ever. Haven't watched it in years and have no desire to. Unless you're a wannabe drug peddling !! that movie doesn't stand up against the greats. !! outta here

I'm only naming 5 total. I've been drinking and my mids dealer shorted me n@sty style. Ain't no heavy thinking right now.
I don't have Scarface and don't want to waste 8 gigs on it, or even bother with a smaller quality. I have Heat but never watch it, nothing special about those two imo.

You don't seem to be a heavy thinker anyways so..

"You enjoyed Scarface? Well youre a wannabe drug dealer!"

Yall try so hard to sound educated & "hip" that you look dumb & lame.

"Unless youre a sociopath whos parents were murked while walking with you down a dark alley after leaving a theater thus making you a masked vigilante in your home city The Dark Knight Rises doesnt stand up against the greats." [pic]

You were better off saying a comic/action lover, but hey, TDK is nowhere near 'the greats'. [pic]

Scarface is trash though, its barely a top 3 crime film from DePalma alone, I would rather watch well made films than crap just to feel hood and gangsta, back to the circus for your[..].

None of the OP's movies would even sniff my Top 10...
  • Requim For A Dream
  • Black Swan
  • City of God
  • Inception
  • 13[..]a#sins
  • V for Vendetta
  • Gladiator
  • I Saw The Devil
  • The Wrestler
  • Brick

I find the !! comment funny too, I love FC but the movie contains strong homose#uality, actually that is what the Durden/??? Narrator's character was struggling with. [pic] People who think its about f!ghting or tough guys are retarded.

Dude above listed a bunch of avg recent films over Godfather/Goodfellas [pic] Oh man, City of God is the only one close.

Not really, Raekwon hasn't been !! in years, and he's not even a good lyricist (I love OBFQL but be real), I would be more shocked than disappointed.

ACO shouldn't be compared to Scarface though, its not even close in any way. I don't care what site this is, once I hit 12 I never cared for Scarface.

whats wrong with scarface? if people can enjoy new jack city and paid in full. calling them hood cla#sics then nothing is wrong with scarface in that category.

is a cinematic masterpiece no but its not the worst gangster movie of all time either

If that's the case, it being a double entendre makes it even better.

Its much better than those other two, but I mean that doesn't make it a great movie. OP didn't say it was in that category he said it was in all time greats like GF.

To me Scarface is a great second-tier movie.

You need a Black Swan sledge hammer to the face homose#ual se# scene to see this? IMO that would be insulting and ruin the movie, think for a second dude.

I love Wu Tang, their first two or three albums, his first solo, his contributions to Ghost and others early solos......but he wasn't a great lyricist, he wasn't a GZA, and has been (like the rest) garbage for over a decade.

You probably downloading his newest album. [pic] I don't even care to know if it exists.

I see it more as Norton playing the pressured middle-cla#s effeminate male who can only find spiritual existence through materials.

I've heard the homose#ual connection too. You can have it anyway you want.

I love your perfect analogy of Black Swan.

I have a lot, but its not what I read its what I can clearly see. Its not blatantly in your face which is good, do you guys miss the homose#ual tones in Ben-Hur, Hitch's Rope, Being John Malkovich, Rebel Without A Cause, Maltese Falcon?

These are good examples of not hitting the viewer in the head and allowing it to simmer in.
