First Look At Rila ushima As Yukio In THE WOLVERINE

Get your first look at the model turned actress dressed as Yukio, standing next to Logan (Hugh Jackman), in James Mangold's The Wolverine.

Another photo has surfaced from filming of The Wolverine, that took place at the Zojoji Temple. This time it features our first look at Rila in her Yukio costume, and with an unexpected coloring of red in her hair.

Rila has the honor of playing, in my opinion, the best role in the film. Yukio is a blood-thirsty[..]a#sin that is ordered to k#ll Logan/Wolverine, but soon develops a crush on him when she witnesses his exceptional k#lling prowess. She is one of the two love interests in Chris Claremont and Frank Miller's "Japanese Saga," with Mariko being the other.

Mariko is frightened by Logan's brutality, while Yukio smiles with glee as Wolverine slices though his enemies. The two love interests represent paths that Logan must choose. With Yukio the path is easy, he is already the man/animal that she loves. The more savage he becomes, the more excited she becomes. However the path to Mariko's heart may be more difficult, but it will lead Logan on a journey of self-control and honor, which deep down is what he truly wants.

off topic but i wonder if we will ever see Wolverine dawn the more traditional costume? I know it would be ridicules to see him in yellow and blue or anything like that but I would like to see the face mask and all that !! that made him such a bad[..] to look at.[pic]

Of course we will, just not in the movies lol.........

For real tho anythng is possible with this last Wolverine, and maybe some cameos in the next Xmen films................... but the face mask?? I dont know how they can pull that off, im sure they have been in the lab and probably did us all a favor and decided they cant find anything dope for a face mask..... Huch Jackmans hair is good enough IMO.

I dont know man, it seems to me like his hair is getting more and more tame. Maybe this movie will bring it back to its wild glory days. this movie is supposed to be in the land of ninjas and masks, I figure if logan is gonna be running with these type, he him self is gonna have to cover up too. I think this would be a perfect time to get into that covert Wolverine. Yea, I deff want to see that beastly Sabretooth, but not like that mindless Sasquatch mess they had on the first one. They can do better than both of them past Sabretooths.

I don't know man that particular costume tends to only look good in the comics and video games. I'm wondering if the movie will be rated R? A Wolverine film with brutal[..][..]a#sins and swords PG-13? [pic]

I feel the same way. The mask is part of what made Wolverine so cool.

Tru. That all black has long been a fav of mine and if magneto can wear his outfit and the x-men dress in yellow and blue then he can rock this.
