with that said.......The Wire is better then Sopranos, I know a lot of posters have their opinions regarding both shows but even the Soprano stans know deep down inside (pause) that The Wire is just a better show..........I could list 100 reasons why the Wire is better but I only need a few

Marlo getting off (pause) and beating his cases just to return back to his first drug stoop and beatin up those punks talkin bout Omar was classic

WeeBey chillin with Chris on the prison yard trumps that bullsh!t endin where Soprano gets k!lled or dosent get k!lled dependin on which soprano stan you ask

Kennard had more heart then every nucca in the Sopranos crew and Marlo made more money in 3 to 5 years (especially the last year) then Tony ever could in his 20 plus years of gambinoism


and lets not even get started with soldiers like Bodie and Snoop their characters were complex yet simple at the same time, but lets just say.....Marlo's crew was tougher and made more money then the Soprano syndicate.....

oh yeah......almost forget.......The Wire was well written to the point where you could easily see it happenin in the daily occurrence in the innercity.....it didn't matter if they were talking about the lack of funding at minority populated schools or the "war on drug" aspect where in retrospect can never end because the govt makes its money on this so called drugs inturn repeating or should I say allowin a cycle of modern day genocide by going after the Avon's and the Marlo's yet some how The Greeks and those like them are not the real targets.....whn in reality they are

plus they gave most of the characters more then 1 dimension (other then Marlo, still don't know what dude does for fun other then gamble and give orders to committ mass murks)

I agree the wire as a whole was better then the sopranos. Sopranos had some down seasons but the wire always kept it top notch from season 1 to 5. Sopranos season 1 is best season ever put on television though imo.

WTF! I have to disagree becuz the show is better period and for it to be on HBO there still was more viewings than The Wire was on BET. And lets not even talk about the awards becuz The Sopranos is k!lling them by far.

The Wire is better. The Sopranos slacked off towards the end, The Wire wasn't having none of that. The Shield !!s on Sopranos as well. Don't get me wrong Sopranos is a great show but it ain't close to being the best I've ever seen.
