It was confirmed like 6 months ago...

anyway...

know Chris Nolan's brother? I saw him in the extra video in the Dark Knight Rises DVD... that guy, if he could act would be a perfect fit for Solid Snake... He's got the look and damn does he have the voice. He sounds like a !!ing bad[..]...

The fact that there hasn't even been a confirmed cast has me worried though. The Splinter Cell movie was confirmed months after and it even already has Tom Hardy confirmed for the role of Sam Fischer...

No, dude already ruined big screen wolverine by portraying him as a !!, he better not be let anywhere near Solid Snake and definitely not Big Boss either.

Whomever it ends up being they probably wont be good enough of a choice.

sony and konami been talking about making this movie for close to a decade now.

to bad Kurt Russel is old as !! now after all the Solid Snake character was entirely based off the Snake Pliskin character Kurt Russel played in Escape From New York from the name, the look, the voice, even the cigarette smoking.

The guy from the last Punisher? that guy, he's good but he's too tall and too big. Snake is lean and strong, that guy, I forgot his name looks like a WWE wrestler. He's also looks quite a bit older than Snake.

Thomas Jane (from the 2004 Punisher movie, I liked it [pic] ) would be better imo but he's older too...

Christian Bale would be a perfect choice, but unlikely I think since I doubt an MGS movie would get the Batman treatment. He looks the part, and with the beard he'd be the perfect Big Boss or MGS2 Snake.

yeah but this time it looks like its actually going to happen. Kojima announced it (even said Hugh Jackman was a dream cast of his) and one of the dudes who worked on The Amazing Spider Man movie is going to be involved... I forget his name... arv something...

ya seen that article last year but every time news drops about the movie it seem to be dead in the water not long after wards. and now with kojima focusing on a new metal gear game i doubt we will get the movie anytime soon.

Metal Gear and the Snake character is kojima's life work and he is the type of guy that will take years making it before he releases it.

then Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is suppose to be a prologue to MGS5 which he said he will have less involvement in. hopefully his less involvement in MGS5 means he will turn his attention to the movie.

Solid Snake was confirmed... I think...

I HIGHLY doubt it will be about Big Boss....

Either MGS1 era or Metal Gear 1 era... MGS1 is most likely I'd think...
