Throwback: More powerful final scene... Boyz N The Hood or Menace II Society?

I thought Menace was a far better movie.

Id say boyz n the hood for final scenes. That speech by cube was some real !! and touched my heart when I heard it.

Fresh is my all time favorite in terms of hood flicks though.

Boyz had the more powerful final scene. Ricky getting shot wasn't the end so its hard to compare that to Cane getting shot to end Menace. Besides, Cane got what he had coming to him, Ricky just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and the brother of an idiot who brought him down, literally.

Oh and Menace officially became worse to me when they replaced Tupac as Cane because he whupped some[..] on the set. Movie would have been much better with him in that role.

cain had zero redeeming qualities what so ever a a thief a murker and a soon to be dead beat dad who wouldnt take care of his own but was gonna raise another mans kid

he didnt deserve no happy ending

ricky was taking care of his son got the score he needed to get into college it was a tragedy him getting k!lled

i thought tupac was supposed to be the muslim guy not cane

Funny...b/c it was the other way around for me, lol. BNDH was way more sentimental to me b/c the character was developed much more emotionally imo.
