Last season was a bit of a let down but gotta give respect to Kim, she did her damn thing and was EASILY the deserving winner.

If you haven't seen Survivor in years, did you miss the whole Russell saga? If so, I definitely encourage you to go back and watch at least his first two seasons. Some of the best stuff on television in the past 5 years.

I think the last season of Survivor that I watched was the FIRST time they brought back some of the old favorites like Boston Rob, Johnny Fairplay and Richard Hatch.

EDIT: I have no idea what the Russell saga consists. Knowing the show, I'm sure he was just another back-st@bber/schemer like Johnny Fairplay.

Probably. Like I said before, it's been YEARS since I've seen Survivor.

I remember wednesday nights on CBS were all about Survivor at 9 pm and CSI at 10pm.

Both shows fell off hard so I stopped tuning in a long time ago.

Johnny Fairplay wasn't on all-stars though.. But I'm[..]uming that's the one he meant, considering he mentioned Richard Hatch. Definitely wouldn't be Heroes vs. Villains considering that was recent and he has no idea who Russell is anyway.

Not sure how I feel about the first episode or my expectations for the season yet. I hope Penner sticks around, cause he was one of my favorites back in the day. And Jeff Kent getting hurt right away kinda sucks, hopefully he can recover and bounce back.
