Cane with Jimmy Smits, it was pretty much like a Cuban Sopranos but the writer's strike !!ed that up. I was hoping to see what Alcatraz and 666 Park Avenue was gonna do with a second season. Should have given them more of a chance. Didn't even realize Inbetweeners got shut down, thought the season was over.

Those saying "How To Make It In America" . . . ya'll were never pissed off with the writing? That show was cool to watch if I wasnt doing anything cuz:

1) Lake Bell nud3 scenes/ secks scenes
2) The story of being motivated and getting money in NYC

But overall it was a cheaper version of Entourage. Way too many cheesy scenes.

Profit (1996) FOX

1 season, it didn't even get to finish the 1st season on the air. There was only 8 episodes filmed. Only 5 episodes actually aired before it was cancelled (the other 3 were later seen on DVD.)

The dark tone, black comedy, and a menacing anti-hero as the protagonist was ahead of it's time. Shows like Dexter, The Shield, Breaking Bad, Nip/Tuck, and The Sopranos later would bring back that same presence. America wasn't ready yet for a show like this. A stronger similarity than the already named shows is the movie American Psycho. Which — like Profit — highlighted the nihilistic nature and greed of the business world, in which heartless sociopaths prospered while others fell prey.

Surprised it took this long to mention this one.

Although I think the ending they had was perfect. One of the most perfect endings to a show I can remember actually. Of course they only ended it that way because they knew they were getting canceled.

I hate shows that get canceled only after 1 or 2 seasons. If you like "Freaks and Geeks" you might like "Undeclared".

Heroes has to be my biggest gripe. You cancel it after the biggest reveal ever? Some !!boy !!.

Seeing a lot of shows mentioned that I only heard of when I got Netflix:

It's inspiring for people trying to similar things. It was entertaining and inspiring at the same time.
