Scarlett Johansson Is Out For Iron Man 3

Tony Stark has gained one redhead and lost another. While Jessica Chastain is in talks to join Iron Man 3, Scarlett Johansson rebutted rumors that she'd be coming back again, telling Screen Rant that she won't make a return appearance as Black Widow, who was introduced in Iron Man 2. That said, she's hopeful that after seeing The Avengers, audiences will clamor for a Bourne-like Black Widow spinoff, even if Johansson will have to make some sacrifices for it. "Do I want to spend another three months shedding the manatee skin and squeezing back into that suit?" she laughed. "Not necessarily, but it's all worth it in the end."

but it's not like she looked extra skinny as black widow, she's around the same weight she always is in pretty much every movie she's been in. She actually looked thicker than usual but it's hard to believe that an actress at her level with the body of work she has already would be sweating exercise. Actors drop CRAZY weight for movies all the time. I think it's more so her being bored with the role and ready to move on.
