i never seen it and people have been hyping it up for the last few years telling me how good it was..i disagree..it wasn't god awful but it wasn't this masterpiece that people are claiming as well...it was nice to see how black LA was back in the 1950's since you hardly ever see movies about topic

saw Black Swan and The Fighter last week....

i'd give The Fighter 8 outta 10 and Black Swan 7 outta 10....both were solid though...

Road to Perdition = 10/10. Damn this movie was amazing. Great story (mob hitman taking on the whole irish mob alongside his son), amazing cast and top notch acting, and it had some of the best cinematography I ever seen (that rain scene with Hanks and Newman >>>>>), Rip to Conrad Hall. Pretty underrated film, never seen it mentioned on any best of the decade list, which it easily deserves to be on.

Yeah bro, you should def get on this, Sam Mendes is that dude. I think the acclaim Mendes got for American Beauty def overshadowed this movie...imo def one of the best gangster movies.

Good film.. I didn't agree with a lot of the thematic elements of it (esp. at the end), and the story moved more slowly than was really necessary..

I'd give it a 8/10 though.
