The fifth season of the HBO supernatural drama series True Blood will premiere on June 10, 2012. It will be very loosely based on the fifth book in The Southern Vampire Mysteries series, Dead as a Doornail but will incorporate much more of the following books than the previous seasons have. Alan Ball said that season 5 will combine elements from multiple books much more than in previous seasons (in other words, we could see events from books 6-?).



I didn't see a thread about the up and comming season so I made one. Seeing as we are one week away from the premiere.

Past 2 seasons have been insultingly !!ty.. I'll have to keep watching though cause the girlfriend's addicted. [pic]

loved this show the first couple seasons.... last 2 have gone downhill.

I think after the [rip]s of Mary Ann and Eggs, things have slowed up. However, I'm looking forward to having something to watch on tv. I haven't watched a series since True Blood ended last season.

I'm definitely not addicted to this show like I used to be the first 2 seasons but I'ma still gonna watch this season. Even tho it seems like its slowing falling off, its still better than everything else on TV around this time.

My favourite guilty pleasure.

Everyone rags on the past couple of seasons, but they've been pretty dope imo (bar the fairy bull!!).
