People complained about there being too many categories. So, ones like "Best Cinematography" were, unfortunately, expendable when this awards thing isn't just for Film, but for TV as well.

As for "Best Foreign Film", this isn't the Oscars. Two Foreign Films got nominations last year in the main categories without needing to be shooed away to it's own "Foreign Film" category.
